I applied to Humanities, and my final average is a 75. I was accepted, and accepted my offer. But I'm confused because I am guaranteed residence. But from what I understand, you have to have 80's to be guaranteed residence. Not that I'm complaining... just curious.

Residence is not guaranteed to all first year students.

Those accepted to McMaster who meet the Residence Admissions cut-off average (81%* for the 2013-2014 Academic Year) are guaranteed a residence space provided they meet the application and deposit deadlines.

Is your 75 average in total or just with your top 6? Because they use the top 6 average.

If 75 is your top 6, then I have no idea lol.

75 is my top 5 average. I'm a Saskatchewan student and they only use the top 5.
