I should have made myself a bit more clearer.
I meant, the reason why Windtab and standard Contracts exist is the same. Their purpose is to help reduce the initial handset cost and to induce a commitment from the customers. They do this by giving you a fixed amount of discount when you start out and penalizing you for early cancellation in order to recuperate their initial investment.
Personally, I would rather be on a standard contract. At least they have a clause that guarantee your rate for the duration of the contract or you get to cancel it without penalty. It is a bit paranoid thinking, but due to the way Wind operate, they can officially raise their price plan anytime they want to. The Windtab will not give you the security like a normal contract will.
This piggy is not afraid of commitment.
