Winter break vacation
My friends and I want to go on a 2/3 day trip somewhere during the winter break. Nothing too far, and the budget is around $600/ person tops. Any suggestions? and what sort of activities can we do there? So far, we thought of Buffalo (NYC), Blue mountain resort, Quebec

Blue Mountain is decent for a couple of nights. If you're a beginner/intermediate skier or snowboarder then it's a good hill. There's also the village at the base which is decent in the night time.

I'd suggest hitting up Quebec City though. Party with some french girls at night, ski/ride at Mt. Sainte Anne. The skiing there is real good for the east, and there are no lineups.

Montreal is also an option for mad partying.

I would also recommend Montreal, sooo fun, and you can take Megabus there - I went in the summer and it only costs like $60 for the round trip. Its cheaper if you book earlier.

From a brief internet search, apparently there might be a Toronto greyhound that gets you there but takes about 3 hours or more. Maybe you can carpool with somebody whos going? Or maybe the snowboard club is going there this winter break?
