Woodland apartments -experience/pets
Hi,

I am looking for a one bedroom apartment for myself and my dog next year. I was looking into the Woodland apartments, but wondering what other's experiences were with the building, location, owners, etc.
Also, I noticed it was pet friendly just wondering to what extent, I have a shepard mix and I was wondering what their pet policy is, I know some places say they're pet friendly but usually doesn't include bigger dogs.

Any comments would be helpful.
Thanks!

I've lived there for three years and have nothing but good things to say about the landlord and superintendents. During my move-in inspection, the landlord noticed that one of the taps was dripping and she had someone in and fixing it before the end of that day.

With regards to pets, it is fully pet friendly. I have cats and there have been no issues, and I have seen other tenants with both small and larger dogs.

Is it possible to find a house that allows pets? I need to have my dog with me in second year but want to rent a house with some friends

I believe the rules are different for apartment/condo buildings, but for houses, a landlord isn't legally allowed to tell you you can't have a pet. You should look into the laws surrounding this, if it's something you're considering doing. It's obviously easier if your landlord is okay with you having pets, but even if they're not, they can't legally stop you (although they can make your life difficult). The biggest thing you need to consider is the people you're living with and whether or not they are okay with it.
