Is it worth going to Mcmaster gym?
I would like to join a gym. Mcmaster sounds awesome in terms of the price. 50 dollars a semester is GREAT! however I heard it can get really busy there? Any opinions? if it gets really busy I might consider going to good life!

It's actually $63/sem or $118/2 sems (tax already included). Unless they changed it this year.
Yeah I think it's worth it, it really depends what time you like to go to the gym though. Weekends/early mornings/late nights are less busy and in the summer it's not busy.

It's a really good deal. Of all the gyms I've visited, the Mac gym is by far my favourite equipment-wise.

yes, definitely!
especially, if you live on res in first year, its pretty convenient!
the equipment is pretty good and plentiful.
the fitness classes are pretty good and free/drop-in.
the climbing wall is included in the pulse membership which is pretty awesome

It's so worth it. And when you're there you don't get harrassed by people to buy training programs and classes blah blah...

It's an awesome gym equipment wise, and it also gives you access to the climbing wall which is pretty cool. It can get real busy, but not to the point that you can't work out. So for the price i'd definitely say you should go for it

you have to find the perfect times to go at. early mornings aren't too busy and evenings are good too, its better if you're living on res becuase then you can go whenever and in between classes
