Nope but it gets annoying occasionally when someone makes a post with the intent to only gain likes or at least portray that image. I hope you see where I'm coming from but maybe not.

Complaining really drains McMaster's bandwidth.

The internet in Innis is a joke. 2 minutes of "Page cannot be display" followed by 20 seconds of slow usage. Over and over...

the slow speed is defintley due to congestion. at the beginning of the term, when i went to thode on the weekend to do homework when there was 10 people in the library, i was downloading at 3.5 mB/s (28 mbits/s) all the time. now that is usually full of people, its much slower but is still ok as long as you are near the center

It's due to not having enough wireless access points. If you look on the ceiling of thode, they only have maybe 4 or 5 for the entire floor. Seeing as they aren't expensive enterprise level routers, obviously that's not good enough when you have over 100 people there at a time.

You also should have voted for the guy who said he was gonna bring more wifi, mang.

I guess people want a fall reading week over better Wi-Fi. Short term gain vs. long term loss...

To each his own I guess..we get an extended winter break at the cost of one less week in the three week exam period which implies more cramming in a shorter period of time which sucks..

I think it's because of the Penguin server being overloaded.
