WW Sat Concert Tix and Important PJ Parade Details

Hope you are getting excited for Welcome Week! (Everyone keep your fingers crossed that the weather stays the same as this week!)

Saturday Concert
Just a reminder for those people who are around campus picking up books etc right now, tickets are on sale for the Saturday concert ft Justin Nozuka, Stereos and Down with Webster at Compass! You are also able to get your tickets at the gate the night of. Just a reminder to everyone, the concerts are for mac students only, and you will be required to show your mac ID at the Saturday night concert.

PJ Parade
Everyone is welcome to attend the PJ Parade in Westdale on Wed, Sept 9. It begins at 6pm and follows the Sterling, Dromore, Paisley N, Dalewood, Sterling route from last year.

There are a few IMPORTANT things to note so everyone has a good time. Please spread the word to friends who may be attending.
- NO LIQUID CONTAINERS are allowed on the route whatsoever. They will be confiscated. This includes water bottles. This is in response to upper year students feeding alcohol to underage first years in the past. There are also no water guns allowed.
- If you are drinking on private property, you face a $125 fine if you step on the sidewalk with alcohol. Please stay off the sidewalk/curb if you are drinking.
- Students are not allowed to stand on the property of permanent residents. The police have a list of student rental property and permanent resident houses along the route. You may stand on the sidewalk or curb though.
- There is a new bylaw, and anyone caught knocking over waste containers or mailboxes, urinating or defecating in public face a fine of $155-$205. This doesn't just apply to PJ Parade, this is all year.

We want to make sure everyone has a good time and that the parade gets back to the original intent of 100 years ago, of students meeting and greeting the community.

Welcome Back to school!!

urinating or defecating in public

Note to Self & Others:
- Never use public washrooms
- Never use natural public washrooms
- Never touch nature
- Never use airport bathrooms
- Never use airplane bathrooms
- Never sit on the grass
- Never stop to smell the roses. Or the daffodils. Or the sunflowers.

*Provided one has several sanitary wipes and alcohol containing sanitizers, the above activities are acceptable provided you rush home at your earliest convenience and shower, and change all your clothes.

PS:
- Never use public showers.

Warning: No. No matter how hard you try to believe otherwise, it was not lemonade. That yellow snow patch was urine. Locate your nearest shower and sterilize those germs*.

*Do not sterilize yourself.
