No one will go alone. That's guaranteed.

Okay, I should semi-retract that statement and say this:

If you're in rez, you won't go alone to welcome week because you'll have met some people in the first 5 minutes if you're anywhere from "outgoing, not shy" to "mildly shy"... You'll have met some people in 25 minutes if you are "mildly shy, to moderately shy"... You'll have met people in 1 hour if you are "moderately to extremely shy" and you will have met people by morning if you lock yourself in your room the second you get there (those who have had the rez experience know why the morning will get you to meet people).

And the second point here is that welcome week doesn't officially start until monday, so you have all that time to get to know people: you'll know someone by then.

As for off-campus: You might start off not knowing anyone, but when you go to your first SOCS event, you'll know someone. That will be early monday morning, so you won't be alone for the week... Maybe 1 hour, at most.

I will be going alone. Like mentioned before it's hard for SOCS students to meet each other before the welcome week events actually begin. I don't think either of us will be alone for long once we start meeting people. I am getting excited!

Yea once you arrive, you will be assigned a group leader. But, you won't hangout with them always. Different group almost everyday.
