I agree with 3, 4 and 5.

Don't most engineers work in teams in the work place?

Yah, but it always sucks a** when you get a person for a project that does nothing or sends you his part like 30 mins before its due, but if you have a good group then it all good.

Yeah, I came up with a rule of thumb for that situation.

[Every group has that one person who doesn't contribute and is a real negative force to the group. If you think your group doesn't have that person, than chances are it's you.]

Ah I see. Yeah, I know what you mean. Everyone hates those types of people since it makes the project so much harder/more work. There should be individual evaluations though, so you can evaluate your team members.

I had that last year. People did nothing and I landed up doing a bunch of extra work at the last minute

As a first year student (basically mature student im 23 \.O.O./ ) my concerns/fears would be :
- Fitting in with younger class mates
- To overcome any language barriers i could possibly encounter
- To get used to studying 2343423 hours a day
- Make friends, but then again i guess this one could be a subcategory for the first one.

-Surviving my second year Economics courses with an Average of 10+
-Getting into the dean's honour roll
-Completing my hyper ambitious MSU projects, not falling to the "starting out with alot of zeal and enthusiasm and ending up not finishing the job/getting disillusioned" syndrome that most people apparently suffer from every year.
-Contemplating whether to do varsity track every day again this year and how that might affect my overall well being/grades and whether my tibia fractures will return
-Doing well in Soccer Intramurals/proving a point.
-Continuing my part time job as a cashier :S
-Writing a spectacularly original mini thesis essay in my second year Sociology classes, not something run of the mill/borrowed from the textbook.
-Figuring out how to pursue my research interests in econ(behavioural econ/Irrational descisions) and socio(Crime & Religious extremism) and finding a prof/department that will give me a paid research oppurtunity next year.
-Finding a job that fits me as an INTJ, namely something that isn't repetitive(sales, food, retail) and allows me to be creative/change something for the better of everyone.
-Financial Concerns
-Trying to be less of an INTJish sulk/cynic all the time and having fun for once!

That's just the begginning lol *sigh*
