1) How many Electives are there for first year Engineering.

I asked this question to a couple of people in mcmaster during open house. Nobody gave me a straight answer.

2) Are there specific deadlines for each elective courses. If there are, can anyone give me the link.

You get to choose 2 electives first year (each is 3 units). I don't fully understand your deadline question, sorry. But the deadline to register in them would be the same as your other courses. I beileve you can still register in an elective for 2nd term, not 100% sure tho. And you have to complete the 2 electives before you graduate, which means you don't have to necessarily take them in 1st yr.
