Engineering Electives
I know there have been many threads posted for electives. The reason I'm starting this thread is because, I need to choose 1 elective from the following list.

I have already taken Econ 1B03 and Econ 1BB3. Writing essays is not my thing and therefore will not be able to take most courses from the above list.

So if anyone knows any other course that I can take from the list which doesn't require me writing essays then please tell me.

Also mention if it is easy or not. Also if there is a really easy course but requires me writing 1 or 2 small(1-2 pages) essays or the essays aren't worth that much, then please mention those too.

Thanks.

Anthropology 1Z03 was really easy this year, I thought.
There were two papers worth 7.5% each that were about 2 pages long. They weren't difficult, either.

I feel like I've talked to you about that class before...
Did you ask about it in the review section for that course?

Those papers weren't essays, to my recollection. Just reports.

I've heard Linguistics 1A03 was relatively easy for some people.

If you've already taken 1bo3 and 1bb3, why do you need to take another elective?

That depends on the kind of person. I took french 1z06, and it was easy for the first few weeks, and gets progressively harder.

I would also consider GEO 1HB3. I put up a review in the review section.
It has a few essay style reports (2?) but its split between a group. Overall though the course is very easy.

I was going to recommend that one, but if you get into a group where no one likes doing anything and you want a good mark... It's pretty time-consuming doing those reports almost entirely by yourself.

I also had both 1HA3 and 1HB3 in the same term, and since they're almost the same course the group work overlapped, so 1 would probably be fine I guess.

not 2 reports...more like 5. I wouldn't recommend it...not that it was hard, but very time consuming.

Yeah, there were 5. The first two are easy, the last 3 are time-consuming and not that easy.
