Hey guys. I have a couple of questions for 4th year courses.
First off, can anyone who has done any of the life science seminar courses in 4th year let me know what they were like? I am considering doing one of these instead of a thesis since i don't need a thesis but i want some sort of research experience. How many people are normally in these seminars? Do you do research with the prof or like what kinds of things do you do? Does the prof get to personally know you?
Also, in honors life science, i am finding it really hard to pick all 4th year courses for 4th year, at the moment, i have it planned with 5 4th year courses and 5 3rd year courses. How many did you guys have? Does it really matter which are 4th and which are 3rd cause i have heard the difficulty level gets about the same? I am not trying to be lazy, its just since my courses are from such a wide range of areas, i only have a certain amount of prereqs for like bio, biochem, chem, psych courses etc...and there is really only one fourth year life science course you can take cause you can only do one seminar or a thesis or a research project...Just would like some insight into this.
I appreciate any help! Thanks!
I put in a 6th fourth year course so now i have 6 4th year and 4 third year, how does that look for schools? does it look bad or it doesn't matter? i am just concerned if conflicts come up then cause that would be a huge problem then...
its not like i am doing easy first year courses in fourth year, so i am not trying to be lazy, i am just trying to make things work out. thanks again, sorry for all the posts! as you can tell, i am a bit antsy about all this stuff.
