Academic Content Questions
This is a question for the moderators. I have noticed many academic content questions appearing here on MacInsiders lately. Has consideration been given to either a) banning these types of questions with reminders to post them in an appropriate forum (i.e. Avenue to Learn), or b) creating a separate forum (i.e. separate from "Academics") entitled "Course Content"? I think one of these two options may help to clear up what seems to have become quite a mess.

Thoughts?

Well the idea of the Avenue forums is to do the same thing, otherwise assignment questions that you are supposed to solve for yourself are not supposed to be posted (ie cheating)

If people post all their questions on here then it clogs everything up and may bury questions/topics that people can't find the answer too elsewhere

Hi Alex,

Please feel free to send Chad (founder of MI, not the other Chad haha) either a PM with a link to this thread or express your same thoughts in the PM to him.

I believe you can also contact him through here:
http://www.macinsiders.com/sendmessage.php

If you can't get a hold of him, let me know, and I'll see what I can do because essentially changes as such would need his approval since he makes those changes if deemed fit and necessary.

If he likes the idea, he'll probably implement it, and I agree with you and the above poster.
