LOL with those as your top 6 your most likely to get in, i had an 88 avg last year and didnt get my acceptance till may'ish, so there is still time and you'll get it, pretty sure.
i believe the avg for those accepted into life sci is mid to high 80's, but the cutoff i think was an 84 last year or somewhere around there. so as long as you keep ur 2nd sem marks high, and even raise them a bit, you should get in.
there was another forum on this topic a while back and ppl had some good advice there, though the ones who asked had grades which were a little better than yours i still think youll be fine

Should be fine. Life Science is pretty overrated anyways imo. Everyone goes for it only and overlooks all other science programs.

I don't know if it's overrated. I mean, I'm in it because I like how versatile it is, how many electives I can take so I can broaden my stream a little. The problem with Life Science is that it's dominated with people who seem to think it's a first-class ticket to a high-paying medical career or something of the sort.
First and second year of life science suck ASS if you're one of those; third year is awesome because there are a TON of available courses and by then if you played your cards right you can take a couple of cool electives to not only bump your grades a bit, but add some flavour to your studies (history and media courses for the win)
But I do know what you mean; I for one would have considered Art & Science and Kinesiology more seriously if I had a chance to go back - even if they're considered "less" prestigious/known by most of the silly kids at our school.

There is no leniency. You are either above the cutoff and get in, or below it and you don't. For Life Sci, it's 100% grades. Basically, they decide they're accepting X number of people, and then they start with the people with the highest averages and work their way down, until they've accepted however many they want. The cutoffs posted on their website are a guess based on what it has been in previous years.

Exactly that. It also depends on the averages of people applying this year and how competitive yours is compared to them. Definitely try and pull up your second semester marks to be as high as possible and make yourself even more competitive compared to other applicants.

You have to realise that all first year programs in science are generic...its all the same so you can ignore the discouraging comments cause you require the irritating exposure to everything in first year no matter where you go. Last year the minimum entrance grade was 87 so good luck on your decision!

I personally would choose life sci > kin.... i mean I don't see the point of a kin degree. I'm sure it's a great program and it does have a lot of good profs but that's just me. Arts & sci would be AWESOME, but it's so hard to get it :( IscI would be sick!!

Why is it always the life sci applicants that come on here asking if others think they will get in? I am a life sci applicant and I am annoyed by this. I know it is stressful waiting but just try your best and relax a little! You have great grades, keep it up.
