Is this allowed?
Just saw this on Facebook; are SpringMasters allowed to use McMaster's logo like this?
I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure this is not allowed.

http://www.mcmaster.ca/opr/html/opr/...tity/logo.html
"The McMaster University logo may only be used in official University materials, documents or communications produced by or for the University. The identity cannot be modified or altered in any way and must be presented in approved colours and font only as outlined in these guidelines. It may not be used for commercial use or by any unauthorized individual or organization."
So... no... but I don't think Spring Masters worries too much about such things.

Spring masters may not worry too much, but I'm certain if this was brought to the attention of the university, they would take immediate action.

Does anyone know who we would contact at the university about this? I'm more than happy to email them and let them know what Spring Masters is doing.

Start with the Office of Public Relations. They'll at least know where it should be routed.

That would be so shady.

SpringMasters shouldn't be using the logo like that, and ARE NOT allowed. McMaster if they find out would send them an immediate take down notice. Contact McMaster Office of Public Relations and they'll take care of it. Clearly SpringMasters will do anything to get through to students...

Contact Huzaifa Saeed first I know they're one of his favourite companies.
Seriously though, SpringMasters sicken me. They tailgate into residence, put their business cards in peoples' whiteboards.
It's happened 3 times this semester. When I see it, I usually walk down my hallway collect them all, and into the recycle bin they go.

I have seen them put posters up around campus in places where you arent supposed to put up posters, without MSU approval sticker things.
I have also gone to the bathroom and seen their cards littering the place. Leave materials around like that is littering. They overwork students and pay them shit wages, why is the MSU putting up with this? Arent unions there to protect the people who are part of them?
