Any scanners on campus?
Does anyone on here know if there's any scanners on campus besides underground printing services, and preferably one that is free?

I need to scan a notebook and my scanner broke down. I know from last year that the scanning option on the campus and library printers was removed because of copyright issues.

Thanks in advance!!

Your best bet would probably be usings the photocopiers instead of scanning. Is there a particular reason to 'scan' rather than copy/print?

The MILLS website still says they have scanners on the 1st and 2nd floors, but they aren't free to use. $2-3 bucks. http://library.mcmaster.ca/mills/comp-equip-1.htm

It ridiculously expensive, you are better off investing in a cheap scanner.

The reason why I want to scan is so that I can print it off of my own printer and save some money that way. I'm looking to scan/print around 100 pages.

Do you know how much photocopying is?

buy a cheap allinoneprinter/scanner. And it's prob easier to photocopy instead of scanning.

Edit: at most photocopy should be 10c/page. more for colour
