Avenue DNS Lookup Fail

Avenue DNS Lookup Fail
Does anyone have this problem/know why it happens/know a way around it? The avenue.mcmaster.ca address works fine, but when I log in (correctly), it just fails the DNS lookup.

Apparently GoDaddy.com (huge web host and domain registrar) was taken down resulting in many sites being taken down as well. So maybe it's related?
