Where to buy cheap laptop sleeves?
Anyone know what store sells Laptop sleeves for low prices? I need one that can fit a 15.6" laptop.

Lowest one I could find was $25.49 at Staples (http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/ca...fixedco de=WW)
I'm not paying that much for a piece a fabric with a zipper.

Thanks.

Your best bet is Ebay. Lots of good, but cheap stuff on there.
Just bought a brand new SE C510 off there for about $110. Awesome deal.

Why not just make one? I did.

But eBay is the cheapest option, if you're willing to wait for it.

Measured the dimensions of my laptop, found some fabric that could stretch, bought a zipper from a fabric store, and used my mom's sewing machine. Voila.

I didn't bother looking for the same plastic/fabric material for the typical sleeve because I'm careful enough not to damage it.

You don't really need the stretchiness if you are making your own sleeve. You can also buy a thin material and use it to sandwich bubble wrap XD

There you go. My ingenuity on display, and it fits my Toshiba 13" perfectly. That's a win.

Hey, go to canadacomputers.com and go to the search bar and search "laptop sleeve" : )
They have some that are under $20
I'm pretty sure their branch in Hamilton has it in stock, I don't know about the other branches - but I'm sure they have it too.

(am now silently hoping they don't run out of stock when I go buy one next week! LOL)

Its not that hard and it comes in handy when you rip your backpack or jeans.

I remember back in grade 7 and 8 when we had family studies. So many of the guys completely failed at hand sewing. I never understood what was so hard about it (aside from tying a good knot at the end :p)... you just make a million loops and then turn the thing inside out :s. I must have sewn various parts of my backpack back together 10 times in high school (too cheap to buy a new one :p)....

That reminds me; in the tech part we also got to use acetylene welding torches. I'm really surprised they trusted 13-14 year old kids with that kind of stuff...

I got mine off http://www.techdepotcanada.c om

On the site, it's pricey however, I mentioned I also needed a bag, laptop lock and mouse and they struck up a deal. If you have to buy something else, CALL THEM. They made my shopping really worth while.

Why do you need a laptop sleeve? Not to the OP but in general.
