I don't think the invigilators kick you out or anything if they catch you cheating, they let you hand it in but will mark that you're suspected of cheating, and they'll investigate further. (ie, if they saw you looking at someone else's page they'll compare your answers against theirs).
That's what they do for midterms at least.

Depends. Like, I listed what they would do if they saw you looking at someone's paper or talking (I think they're supposed to point it out to another invigilator as well). If they saw you looking at a cheat sheet or your phone or something they would tell another invigilator who would keep an eye on you, and if they saw it as well whoever would collect your paper would put it in a separate pile and you would be informed later.
That's how I'm assuming it would work at least, I'm not sure how different midterms vs exams are.

I believe they need the invigilator + at least 3 witnesses in order to nail someone for cheating. Typically if you sit near your friends, they won't rat on you so it's very difficult to get busted for cheating.
I have seen a person stand on their chair and sing I'm A Little Teapot, however - that got him kicked out on the spot

Teapot? Wasn't. Was certainly disrupting the exam, though

Man... I wonder how screwed you have to be before that's the only logical thing left to do :p.

Hmm I wonder if cheating occurs a lot during exams. Someone once offered to write one of my friend's exams in exchange for $ because they looked kinda similar (ie both were Asian). They didn't agree to it but that was kind of sneaky.

Is it really worth risking it? Failing an exam vs. being kicked out. Hmm..
