If anyone calls you a rat they're a loser and you shouldn't bother associating with them anyway. How petty can you be. If someone generally thinks someone is cheating they should report it, if they're not fine then they will be cleared and suffer no consequences so they have no business calling you a rat or otherwise.

How would you look like a dumbass? You're not dumb, obviously the other person was acting sketchy enough during the exam that it looked like they could possibly be cheating.

If you whisper quietly to the invigilator how are you disturbing, people ask questions, ask for paper etc during exams, its no different.

People are too friggin' hung up on other people's perceptions. Why should someone get away with cheating on an exam b/c you're too much of a baby to report them b/c you're afraid someone will think you're a rat or a dumbass.

Point is, cheat as much as you can. : )
