Can I get married on campus?
I know the University Club offers accommodations for traditional weddings, but that's not what I'm looking for. I am interested in having just myself, my fiance and the officiant for a quick, 20 minute ceremony.
I have contacted some people at the University Club via email and phone, but none of them have got back to me. Does anyone know who I would contact about this? I know Mac is considered "private property" so I would need permission to get married here. I'm just not sure who else to contact.
Thanks for any help.

Only if there's an open bar, and that I'm invited.

the MSU has no jurisdiction over these things, she needs to contact the university directly and wait for thier reply. I'm not sure if the Club is under the universities hospitality services.
where do you plan on holding the ceremony. the university allows wedding photography on campus under these guidelines; http://conference.mcmaster.c a/wedding_photos.html
i would think that holding a simple 20min ceremony with only you your husband and an officiator would be no problem, so try contacting the department responsible for the wedding photography and see if they can do something about it.

What I was implying if you couldn't tell was to contact the MSU President so he can guide her in the right direction (if no one here can/could).

You should get in contact with Diane or Wendy about this. There office is located on ground floor of McKay Hall room 124 and should have Housing and conference signs on the door. Mckay hall is located near commons building so if you can't find it, just ask anyone at commons about it.
Just so you know, you have to book ahead of time for this.
Lastly, congrats
