When can we start using student card for transit
When can we start using it for "free" transportation? Sep 1?

I think as of the first Monday before September (as someone pointed out in a previous thread).

No, it's officially Sept 1.

Some bus drivers will let you use it in August, but it's a bit of a gamble. Officially, the sticker is valid as a bus pass from Sept 1 to Apr 30, same every year. This information is on the MSU website as well.
