What do you think? Personally, it was my hobby to collect pennies (collected over 2000 pennies) Bye-bye penny!

I guess now it really will be lucky if you find a penny on the ground
and I suppose this means no more prices ending in .99!

I actually saw an article entirely about what will happen to prices ending in .99, and apparently in countries where they already got rid of the penny they still have those prices, so people aren't really anticipating huge changes.

yeah all that .99 stuff will stay the same, Im pretty sure.
Debit/credit transactions will be the same (so if your total is $10.91, you will pay that much) but if you pay in CASH it will be rounded up/down.
If you want to give/pay in pennies, you can, but the cashiers can't/won't give you pennies back.

$1.01, $1.02 = round down to $1
$1.06, $1.07 = round down to $1.05
$1.03, $1.04 = round up to $1.05
$1.08, $1.09 = round up to $1.10
