Thank you for your encouraging reply. I will be posting up the second article on frosh week sometime this week, what with juggling summer school and writing. Again, if you have any suggestions please let me know. Also for this topic, my room-mate and I never had any issues with sharing and we were both okay locking doors when the room was empty.

remember to lock your door at least the first week. last year someone got their laptop stolen during the frosh week because they didn't lock their doors at night.

also in terms of roommate, i would obviously hide things like money, expensive jewlery?, electronics since you won't know them well enough yet.
