This is a great course if you enjoy writing and some light reading. We read about one play a week, and each took me about one and a half to two hours to read. Dr. Maclean is a great teacher who spends a lot of time putting together lectures that involve multimedia images and videos. The course was fairly easy if you are a good writer and attend lectures regularly. You do not need a classics background to do well in this class.
Two quizzes (really easy)
One midterm
One essay (7-10 pages, based on lecture material)
One exam (2 hour, based on material after the midterm)

I had Dr. Mattison for this course and she was an amazing prof! She really made you engage with the material but taught it in an interesting way.
