How come some people already know what their conflicts are and what time their classes are at??

i was wondering the same thing when i saw this post on the home page. For a while i thought ppl got there TT's earlier than others, like the SOLAR registration dates for various faculties.

My best guess is that they are prolly looking off the timetable generator and checking the various possibilities.

I just use two weeks in iCal and make my own mock timetables. Dillon's app (linked above) is really nice but I just prefer being able to shuffle around or add tons of courses to see how they work.

how do you know what time slot you'll have though? if there are like 5 different times the class is being offered?

you wont know which slot youll be put in if there are multiple cores for most of your classes. people just make/think of an ideal schedule and make the changes once solar gives us our timetables.
