Hey everyone. Next term I'll be having a course that has Monday classes at 2:30 and 4:30, but I also have a lab scheduled every other week on the same day. The 2:30 class has recordings, so I could always catch up, and I could probably catch up on the material afterwards for the other class. I'm just wondering if I would be permitted to keep my schedule without resolving the conflict? Would they actually force me to change it around? Or as long as there aren't any evaluations during that time slot I should be fine?

If it's a core, you generally can't take it with a conflict. SOLAR won't let you. You'll need to get course permission.

Actually, I think you are allowed to have conflicts. Solar won't stop you if you have a conflict, but they will warn you. I wouldn't advise it, but if you're able to work around it, then go ahead.

There's another thread on this. The science faculty doesn't allow conflicts.
