Convert Glossy screen to Matte?
Is it possible to convert a glossy computer screen to matte?
(ie. applying a removable film on top)

Thanks.

That depends - do you require a screen that has a physical matte texture, or simply something to reduce glare. They make screen film protectors for LCD monitors similar to type they make for mp3 player and phone screens. The film is not matte per say, but it does eliminate glare. Here is one for example: http://www.cheapstingybargai ns.com...free-shipping/

If you are buying your laptop online, you can choose that option with Dell. I have a matte screen, it's awesome, no glare, no fingerprints.

Yes, I'm trying to reduce glare. Do they sell something like this in major retail stores?
