Courses Without TA's?
Are there any good courses out there (electives I could take next year, preferably) which don't have TA's? I'm looking for a smaller class size, as well as the chance for the professor him/herself to grade my work...
Also trying to avoid the different grading schemes often seen in TA's...unless, that is, you manage to get a good one...

None come to mind for me, but while you're looking, keep in mind that a lack of tutorials doesn't mean there are no T.A.s. In my experience T.A.s still mark everything even if there are only lectures.

They still may have marking TAs even if they dont have ones that teach you. What program are you in? I know in one of my classes there has been a good TA and she has been teaching for like 5 years so you may be able to ask around.

There are no TAs for the language courses.

Yeah that sucks :/ I wanted to be a Spanish TA but it wasn't an option as they don't exist.

I don't know of any in particular below 4th year, but you could try looking at the Master Timetable. Check the room - if it's really small, chances are you will have lots of one-on-one time with your professor.

Not necessarily (ex, JHE 376 or whatever is pretty big). It depends on the building...

Although I did had a TA when I took Japanese 1Z06 in 2010-2011 school year and I had Japanese tutorials but after that they didn't have them anymore...
