Cumulative average
Is your cumulative average calculated at the end of semester 2 or does it include summer courses as well?

They calculate it at the end of term 2 and at the end of the summer term.

Your cumulative average accounts for every course taken at Mac, including summer school.

Sessional averages, though, includes term I and II only, and if you take summer school, that counts as its own sessional average.

So if you're in second year, your sessional average would be term I and II (the one that just passed), and your CA would include this year, last year, and any summer school courses you've taken.

Hmm, I am pretty certain you can take summer school, as long as your cumulative average is above a 3.0

Summer grades count towards next year's cumulative average.

If you have above a 3.0 you can take a summer course. But if your average is below a 4 in engineering, you will be kicked out of the program :(
