As far as I know, the student health coverage for eye care only covers "50% of the cost of a a checkup for a maxium of 50$". Guess you could opt out of the health and dental and collect your 80$ to buy your glasses. Probably best to keep your insurance though, if that's your only insurance, and just pay the ~250$ for glasses out of pocket.

but i heard the maximum u can get back is $100?

Well, considering the amount of glasses turned in on a yearly basis to security services... justified? Heh
