Doable semester?
Thoughts on taking Bio 2A03, Kin 2YY3 and Physics 1B03 in one semester (plus 2 other courses)? ie is it doable or am I just setting myself up for disaster?

well you got 3 labs, but then again physics is a bird course, kin 2yy3 is beyond easy trust me. You only have to memorize a few things, about half as much as the other kins, and bio 2a03 is uber easy aswell. All are bird courses so u got this

I think 2 of the courses together would be fine...but all 3 together..could be a disaster. Depends on if you have the work ethic and how easily you are able to memorize because 2A04 and 2YY3 are pretty content heavy and Physics 1B03 is just a NIGHTMARE. Personally, I'd take one of these in the summer or first semester in 3rd year. Do you need them all as a prerequisite for another course next year?

I was thinking of dropping Kin and taking that third year and then picking up Bio 2C03

but I think it could be doable. depending how much of a bird course are the other two! but it would be super busy semester not necessarily tough as kin has a test every week. So you will be studying for kin every week memorizing on top of that bio 2a03 has labs that takes tons of time to do. I would say if you are down to work consistently every week, go for it, but if you are gonna slack off, your kin test marks will suffer.

Edit: Also Physics CAPA is not something to be taken lightly.

I think that's a good idea, since bio2c03 is a pre req to lot of third year courses, which you may be interested in.

Easily doable. Most engineering student have that work load every term.

You shouldn't worry about your semester...speaking from experience physics 1b03 is a soft course everyone exaggerates it & bio 2a03 and kin 2yy3 are really soft...you will just be busy with classes and I agree with Billu on this one. Orgo is a better course than bio 2c03. He recommended this to me last year and i don't regret that decision at all

its doable. bio labs are annoying...you will hate them. physics 1b03 isnt time consuming. its just a gpa killer for a lot of ppl. kin 2yy3 is just pure memorizing. gonna be same as first kin probably. its all doable. tbh i dont even think its hard. you should know how these courses are so if you think you can do em, nothings stopping u

The other courses I have right now are Psych 2AP3 and Religion Studies 2WW3. Although I'm not too sure if I want to continue taking the religion course

not sure how those courses are but I've heard tons of people taking psych 2AP3. It seems to be a popular course. Look into Enviro2ww3 (water), earth Sci 2gg3 (natural disasters),. These are some renowned bird courses that will give you a lot of wiggle room really. But you could always save them up for senior years.

ATM, kin 2yy3 is pure memorization as you should know. Look at how much time it took you on average to get ready for weekly tests during kin 2y03. On top of that, add in bio2a03 memorization, which is not as much and more conceptual but enough. Also the labs are time consuming (biweekly). On top of that, physics 1b03 is a type of course that you should be spending a good amount of time every week for homework and CAPAs.

it's a doable semester, not necessarily tough, but for sure BUSSYY! Since I am not the brightest of the kids, I usually have to work really hard to do well. you are still in 2nd year, I don't think a few Bs would hurt as much in the longterm. So get rid of all the tough/GPA killer courses right now so you have more time to relax in 4th year.
