I agree, there's nothing wrong with it. What I have a problem with is the emphasis that society puts on it (one example is this thread XD)

To me, it's just a pointless concept and it's even more pointless to worry about it. This is school, not a fashion show. What also irritates me more is comments such as "or should you say, a lack of fashion style." Gah, I don't even want to get into it, it's 2 am. XD Maybe after I wake up and pack.

I'll just never understand why it matters.

im a little apprehensive about gaining weight too, i spent the last year excercising and eating right resulting in a weight loss of a 100 lbs. I dont want to gain it all back. I also need to get a new wardrobe. I was wondering if skinny jeans are ok for guyz, normal jeans just dont fit right.

Holy hell, congrats! Now that's what I call hardwork. Remember that you have free access to pools and rock climbing and a few other things, or you can pay 104 dollars for an 8 month Pulse membership (cardio + weights)

And as long as you stay away from the super shitty food, you'll be fine. Just don't stay cooped up in your room all the time!

And honestly, if the pants fit, wear them. Who cares what "style" they're called.

Grats on losing all that weight. As for the jeans, it's up to you. I know a couple people that wear skinny jeans. If it's your style or one that you want to adopt, go for it.

I'm pretty sure you have to pay to use the rock climbing wall...

Holy crap dude! Congrats! Now...what's your secret? :p I went on a healthy diet, hit the gym 4 times a week, and played hockey 1-2 times a week, and I gained 28 pounds over the course of 2 months :/

Gaining weight does not always mean that you gain fat. Burning fat and building up your muscles can also result to weight gain, after all, muscles are denser than fats.

Congrats! That's beyond awesome! I too am definitely hoping there's healthy options around campus and such. Don't think anyone wants to gain weight anyway .. except those people with super metabolism =/.. I envy you all

Please. Do. Not. Wear. Skinny. Jeans! Unless you are ultra skinny aka a beanpole. In that case anything you wear will appear to be a skinny jean.

But for anyone normal it just looks wrong and wierd, Leave the body hugging skinny jeans nonsense to the aforementioned Heel Wearing Fashionista females(I've noticed they both tend to go together!).

If you look up the history of jeans they were meant to be casual and loose and made for "work" purproses. Skinny jeans with guys is something that makes me wonder about their "orientation" sometimes lol

p.s: I wear heavy winter clothing on most days. I then take it off indoors into Lad casual wear(from the UK) Hoodies/Smaller Sports Jackets with loose carpenter cut jeans or a regular tshirt/Jersey. Unfortunately I do not get the oppurtunity to yell Ooo are yaa Oooo aree yaaa? To random strangers :(

The plan is to take a photo of a person with a unique style a day and post it up on the board. It'll be something like The Satorialist.

But yeah, it doesn't really matter what you wear to school. No one will be judging you really. This is just a personal project for myself, as I am very into photography and street wear.

Awesome idea!! And photo too!

I don't know about that... girls who wear skinny jeans and are really really skinny make me wonder if they're eating properly. :/
