In terms of jackets, I love the Columbia all-in-ones. They're these super flexible, lightweight jackets with a special type of insulation designed for skiiers. You think you'll freeze but you'll be so warm.
I want a pea coat.
But lets see how many used textbooks I can buy first.
Maybe next year.

I guess mac is very diverse in terms of dress code,

You will have students that wake up late going to class in their pyjamas.
Some students are coming back from the gym and are dressed in track pants/gym shorts.
Some students have a presentation to give after or a job interview to go to so they dress formally in a suit.

Your in university, no one cares what you wear.

Big coats can get you in trouble sometimes. Especially around exams when people are feeling pent-up and giddy.

But I don't show up for class late and try to blame it on my footwear and if I do show up late for a class and I'm wearing heels I feel just as annoyed with my shoes as you do at that very moment. I hate skinny jeans, not everyone who likes fashion likes skinny jeans, I have an ass so I can't wear those jeans.

Also I wear nice clothes because I want to wear nice clothes, not because I'm worried what other people think of me. If I wanted to wear sweatpants and a hoodie everyday, I would.

Oh Alyssa, I was thinking of you when I read this thread

I look forward to being able to go out with my track pants on.....my highschool frowned upon it, even during exams (but I broke the rules and did it anyways...if I'm going to write a three hour calculus exam, dammit, I'm going to be comfy).

Methinks I need a McMaster pair, for S&G. ^_^

I don't have that many shoes:
1 Reebok (I just bought)
1 Timberland 6inch boots
1 Yonex (That's right, badminton FTW!)
yonex makes shoes 2? are they expensive?

Just to reiterate my point (since I think this is directed to me) - I have no problem with people dressing nicely and wearing heels. I have a problem when those same people come to class LATE consistently and you can hear the click-click of their heels. And it's worse when they come through the front door and have to walk pass the prof or anything like that. Of course, it's annoying if ANYONE does it but it's normally relatively quiet if you're not wearing heels.

Losing weight in the strictest sense of the word shouldn't be the ultimate goal... being healthy should be your ultimate goal. Either way, if you're gaining weight after changing your diet and excercising more, then it's probably muscle tissue and extra water weight.

PS: my gf is in Kin, so I have to listen to her talk about this stuff a lot

I wasn't directing what I said to one particular person, I was just stating what I thought on the matter.

If you look up the history of jeans they were meant to be casual and loose and made for "work" purproses. Skinny jeans with guys is something that makes me wonder about their "orientation" sometimes lol
Omg, I HATE how people think that guys who wear skinny jeans are gay.
That is not always the case.
I know plenty of guys who wear skinny jeans who are NOT gay.
A perfect example is my bf.^_^

And Maybe it's the only thing that fits them, cuz they're so skinny?
Maybe, just maybe, it looks good on them, and they happen to like the look?
I thought Mac didn't judge people by what they wore -_-

Also, skinny jeans + heels = hot.

sinthusized likes this.
