If you are considering going into management at all, you need to take econ 1B03.
I took the course in first year and found it really easy. I haven't taken 1BB3, but I think it's about the same difficulty. Part of the two courses overlap for material covered.
Thanks for the replies i took 1B03 i guess i will stick with it. I am not planning on doing management right now. I will probably do management part time after i graduate and get a full time job(so my employer pays part of my fees).

Management takes different courses than someone in strictly an engineering course. They take take more commerce courses and don't take all of the courses that everyone else takes in your department.
Once you get to Mac you will get a better idea of what you want to do. I considered management so I took econ 1B03 in case I changed my mind later (which I did).

I don't think you could do that. Have you considered mechatronics at all?

Yeah, you have a lot of time to decide on what you want to take. Later in the year there will also be information sessions for each of the departments with the profs and upper year students there to answer questions (and usually free pizza )

1p03 should be a bird course, unless they made it harder this year. Would recommend taking both econs as you will need them if you are in management. You can take one in first year, and then they will force you to take the other half in second year if you make it into management.

What year you take 1BB3 in management depends on your program. Civil and management takes econ 1BB3 in third year.
