That's what I really hate. Some people in engineering got a 90%+ entrance average for basically just showing up to whatever highschool they went to, and then got a $3000 entrance scholarship along with the "free pass" into whatever stream they wanted.
Most of them obviously aren't getting the scholarship next year, but I only got $1000 dollars coming in with my highschool average (I get it this coming year too
). If the thing is being cut back to only being renewable for 2 years, that means that they got $1000 more than me for doing nothing >:U.
I don't mean to sound like an arrogant douchebag or anything... but still, lol.
EDIT: Does the new two year thing apply to everyone, or just new first years? I don't remember it saying anywhere that you're guaranteed the renewable scholarship if you sustain the required average. :p
