Extra Credit for Psych
I did really bad on this week's Psych 1X03 quiz because I didn't know that we were supposed to watch 2 web modules. I was confused by the way it was written on the course outline.
Is there a way I can get extra credit or go talk to Dr. Kim or my TA about this? I honestly feel that although I did make a mistake, it wasn't completely my fault since of the way it was written.

If it's a legitimate problem and other students are complaining about the issue, then you may have a chance. If you are an isolated incident, then it's extremely doubtful that they'll care.

Don't they drop your lowest quiz? Unless you've missed one already, that shouldn't be a problem. If I were you, I'd focus my energies on studying for the next quiz. There's no harm in talking it over with the TA and Dr. Kim, but...it won't be easy, unless they get a whole load of complaints.

^Not really. I mean, there IS experimetrix, but it just reduces the weight of your exam, which means that overall, you barely improve by a percent or two.
Still worth doing, though.

There is no such thing as extra credit, as the way you're asking, at McMaster, as far as I know.

It sounds to me like you're doing the online quizzes all by yourself, which is a big mistake. Do them with as many people as you can.

yea, quizzes are hard. dont do em alone ever. and on content section on avenue for psych it tells you what to do each week

If you've gotten all 10s so far then this topic makes no sense, you can drop your 3 lowest quiz marks, this will just be one of the ones that are dropped

Sorry for hijacking thread, but should I drop this course? I am getting A+/A courses like Math 1X03/Chem 1A03 and for this course constantly C+ :S This course seems ridiculously hard compared to other science courses..
