Oh yah. What makes me even more ****ing pissed off even more is that I was on at 12:00, selected courses and the goddamn server from ****ing hell crashed. I didnt even get to see if my courses were full.
NOW, I get back on at 12:11. Everything is full. Even my required stuff. I had to put in random sh** to even get 9 units in per term.
This is ridiculous.
Students take the time and effort to stay up, plan out their courses, MAKE A FREAKING MOCK TIMETABLE, and are diligent enough to log on at 12:00, most of us, and SOLAR just goes:
"UP YOURS!!!! AHAHAHAHAHH! You'll NEVER GET WHAT YOU WANT, AND IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF MEEE! I LOVE MYSELF!"
And the rest of us have to bang our heads on desks to try and figure out why Mac hates us students, who pay them. Brilliant.

the whole point of getting in is for the electives! and i got nothing!
how long is it gonna take for them to see that mugsi is a piece of crap! i dont have the strength to do this every year

OK.... I was already on solar at 12:00, but it crashed half way through when I was picking my courses...
Now I'm back on ground zero trying to get in mugsi ='( WWWHHHHYYYYYY

I think the original intention was that the MUGSI server would allow only a certain number of people to access SOLAR as to keep the SOLAR server from being bombarded with requests while students are selecting courses. Instead MUGSI handles the barrage of requests (which explains why SOLAR moves slightly faster).
Of course though, this was implemented long ago when McMaster has much fewer students, so both are slow :p.

Try at 5:00 AM. I find it's relatively easy to get on then.
