You are -not- eligible if you failed a prereq. Otherwise it would not be a prereq.

I guess the point is that the OP is now "illegally" enrolled in the class. He is still in the class nonetheless.
Contact your advisor would be the best.

First ask yourself if you think you can do well if you weren't comfortable with the material enough to do something thats based on it, then speak to the professor to see if the prereq material is waivable (sometimes they have prereqs just to be safe; its possible to do well in a course you don't fully have the prereq for), then department heads, advisors, etc, etc.

you're "registered" for the class. if u dont move it around in solar u can technically still illegally take it

^ im not sure what would happen at the end of the semester. i would just ask the prof, since one of ours mentioned if you dont have the prereq than you just sign something and he does too and everything is dandy

They will most likely kick you out and you will have to choose another class.
Your best bet is to talk to an academic advisor or the professor and see if they will give you a waiver to let you stay in. If you don't talk to anyone and just stay registered in the course, you'll most likely get kicked out.

I took math 2zz3 last year after failing 2z03 in first semester. Since you registered at the start of the year they can't kick you out so I'm guessing its the same situation

I don't think so, I think yes technically you are enrolled but they won't give you the credit because you failed the pre-reqs. Go speak to someone.
