Keep your average as high as you can. You can probably do physics 1D03 in summer. As long as you can get say a 6 average this term to offset that 0, you will be fine and probably will get a conditional offer (an offer into 2nd year upon completing 1d03 in summer)

same boat as u. they will probably "remove" that course from ur list of courses taken through the year, however that will cause u to get a higher average. Example: I was told lowest last year for mechanical was 6.9. Setting that as a reference for this year, all eng students trying to get into mech would need a 6.9, while others who dropped/failed 1 course would need higher (say 7.2)

don't worry you are not devastated. You can always take it this summer and pass it. try to maintain a 4+ gpa OR whatever you think you need for the program you want to go in next year.
Btw, which program do you wanna get into next year?

thanks for the numerous suggestions i want to try to get into a management program preferably mechanical or civil although i hear the averages for this program are substantially harder like a 6.5 - 7 gpa:( im hoping i can keep my grades really high this semester and i do study harder as im mostly in my room almost all day if unless i go to the gym sigh so will they drop the course for me meaning i get a higher average but i will need to get a higher average than everyone else too?

Relax
You can retake it in the summer and get conditional acceptance into 2nd year.

Talk to your academic advisor. Ugh. I'm in a shitty situation atm as well.
The 0 remains there forever. Just try your best this semester and hopefully the grades will balance out and you get the CA you're aiming for. GLHF.

if you failed 1D03 I do not recommend that you apply to mechanical or civil. I also do not want to be walking on any of the bridges or any key structural components you design.

Sound advice, but that doesn't contribute anything to the discussion.. I'm sure he feels bad enough that he failed, no need to be like that
