for Bio 1a03, dunno about either, Zhu sounds like a new name and I didn't have Wilson, haven't heard great things about Wilson though.

for Bio 1m03, my combination was Quinn and Stone. Personally here's how it went down:
midterm 1, just written by Stone, found it to be easy.
midterm 2, written 2/3rds by Quinn, 1/3rds by Stone, found Quinn's section to be slightly easier than Stone's.
exam: Stone's questions were trickier than Quinn's.
Also as lecturers, while Stone has more of a nice guy vibe, he puts me to sleep. Seriously, his lectures can cure insomnia. Quinn kept me awake, even though the subject matter wasn't anymore interesting.

Overall I'd say I like Quinn more.

Agreeed. Boreham was definitely one of the best profs I've had.. One of the only classes I actually stayed awake the entire lecture =P

Avoid Stone at all costs....unless you want to fall asleep to the monotone sound of his voice.

Made me lol when Stone was introducing himself...

Stone was excessively boring, do 1A03 first term then 1M03 second...or youll have regrets, period.

I had Dr. Kolasa for Bio 1M03 first term. I fell asleep nearly every lecture, which wasn't a smart thing to do, because he didn't read off his slides AT ALL. He had all these slides from the textbook up there, and then he'd be explaining everything in a completely different way with lots of extra stuff.

His questions weren't hard, per se, but they could tackle the most obvious thing ever that you hadn't bothered to learn because, seriously, who would ever ask a question on that? Apparently Kolasa does.

I can't speak for Zhu or Evans, but for Bio 1M03, make sure you avoid Stone. He's very boring, and can't keep the lecture hall under control at all. It doesn't seem like he even wants to teach. Quinn is freaking amazing. I suggest you take the course with him because he's one of those first year Bio profs (like Boreham) you shouldn't miss out on.

It's a pity you guys don't have him teaching this year.

And no Kajuira? Ha. I suppose they read the comments about her misusing a shitload of lecture time in the prof feedback survey.

Kajiura is still teaching BIO 1A03.

OP didn't mention her because she is teaching first semester with Zhu and second semester with Wilson.

Ah well, rite of passage. Remember kids, it's alright if you're 10 minutes late for her lectures. Unless you give a crap about iGnite that is.

AVOID wilson if u can.

E: A...but not B because of this reason...

OMG yes exactly what I was going to say!!! His MC is soo annoying during the exam I was like this is a JOKE every single question was like that and I was so sick of it or it would be like

A: B & C
B: An answer
C: An other answer
D: None of the above

I don't know if this is because of how the MC are mixed around for all the versions but it was so annoying to read through the question and then go to the first answer and see "B & C" I HAVEN'T READ B & C YET!! It's not that big of a deal but it did bother me especially with the high stress situation of an exam. And none of the above sucks!!!!! Cause honestly I'm never 100% sure that all the answers are wrong unless its obvious. And he'd also always have like A &B and then B & C or something.

These types of MC questions are seen on every test once in a while but on the exam that was literally ALL of his questions.

Don't forget one of the questions where one of the answer was saying that the question itself is correct...

Of course Quinn also had, in my year, a half page (SINGLE spaced) QUESTION. On an MC exam. Worth 1 mark.
