full time or part time?
Hi
What is considered a full-time student in Spring/Summer terms of 2012? What about part-time?
If you have one course in first term and another course in second term, is that considered full-time or part-time?

I think 2 courses per term would be considered full time.

oh okay so what course load (percentage) would it be if someone took one course first term, another course second term?

That would be 50% (Full time is 12 units)

If you take 60% course load (per term), that is considered full time during the school year, anything less would be considered part time. I think the same applies to summer school...sorry not too sure what exactly would be the course load percentage of a part time student during the summer :/

It's actually 80% for McMaster (60% is for MSU membership).

That's why you need to take 12 units in summer to be full time, if you take 3 courses (9 units) it's 75% and therefore part time.
