Haha, so those $0.13 lost make it that much different from $4, ?! Staples sucks for changing the price in a matter of a day anyway >.< grrr!

Still try and get the price check. Just bring back the receipt.

I read the policies and they have a price match policy but no price check policy... but yeah you can actually use the price match policy:

http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Static/sta...y_pric ematch

Quote:
If you find a lower advertised price on an in-stock new identical item from an Authorized Canadian dealer, now or within 30 days of your purchase (14 days on computers and laptops), just show us the price. We will match it and give you 10% of the difference as a credit to your purchase (maximum $50 credit)!
Technically they are an Authorized Canadian dealer. So technically they should match the price. They won't give you 10% of the difference though (which is only 40 cents or so) because of this:

Quote:
From time to time, our catalogue, internet and store prices might temporarily not match due to printing press deadlines. If this happens, you will get the lowest price of the three. We will not offer the additional 10% credit.

definitely!

Any who back on topic, this calculator isnt all that bad. I mean I'm not a professional calculator reviewer but the buttons actually do their job unlike those other calculators where you would punch in huge number only to realize that a number didnt register because you didnt push the button hard enough and ohh no they didnt put a backspace button on it so you have to start over and test time is running out.

(What's a review without a good rant?

@jhan523:

I thought they were also around $23 at Titles. Because when I bought mine a few years ago, I bought it off someone for $22, which I remember was cheaper because it was without the tax. haha I saved so little but oh well.

I've had one for a year or two. Read the first post, kicked myself in the ass really, really hard when I realized I went through HS calculus with no idea the thing could solve systems of equations and polynomials. FML.
