As awesome as using the student card would be, I'll kill myself for getting the GO ID XD
Do you guys think this might've been a recent change? Cuz I didn't see that anywhere on the site, nor did anyone at Mac tell me :S Hmm :S

Yea looks like it is a recent change. The COMPASS website still shows the whole application process for the GO ID card and hasnt been updated yet.

Yeah, I think it's a recent change. When I checked the website 2 days ago it said that we need to get the ID.

Zomg, they should have released this information earlier so that I wouldn't have
wasted my time going to Mac and Union. :(

Who did you call, GO Transit? They have the final word on it, but I kind of wanted to call McMaster just to make sure.

Don't worry, you'er not alone :(. It's a recent change though, so it's no exactly our fault :(
Edit: I agree, I'm gonna call tomorrow, Mac and GO, just to make sure :S. Cuz high school students are allowed to use their student card.. So maybe that's what's meant :S?

GO Transit. I went through some supervisor dude. Haven't called McMaster yet though... that might be a good idea...ah... and I was so hyped up too! Oh well, hopefully McMaster agrees with GO Transit's answer.

I already called GO and they said the MacID is replacing the GO ID. Plus Anson just confirmed it. I'm waiting for my grandmother to get off the phone so I can call McMaster.

Yeah... I think I'm going to call McMaster tomorrow. Calling GO Transit and waiting on hold was already annoying enough >.<

I contacted the Office of Sustainability. The system hasn't been finalized yet but will be next week. The old GO Student ID Cards from the previous year (08/09) validity has been extended to October 31st.
