Why do we need to do this? and where is Clark Centre?

Don't know about question 1... but questions 2: ET Clarke Centre is the building south of Keyes.

As it was dicussed before, it's pretty much for financial reasons. Either you get a fine of $110 if you don't have a GO ID or you buy an adult ticket of $9.25, versus the $7.50 of a student ticket.

May I be the first to say this is BS (Probably not the first in this thread). The whole convoluted process is just BS.

It pretty much is... a convoluted process for something that was and should be simple, just for more green stuff. Well, blue, purple, green, red, brown in Canada... you get my point, money.

It says they're open for tickets sales on saturday. I doubt the customer service is open though, when I was there, I saw the hours posted. Monday - Friday 9-5 I believe it was

Yup. Right in the main part of the basement of Union Station. Just look for the giant line of student looking people.

Yep! Beside the ticket sales, it's a small office. You go there, give them your form, and enrolment letter, then he basically just cuts the paper, signs the back, and laminates it. It took me and about 5 minutes, and the office was pretty packed too.

Where was the student union during this change? It seems to me they could have put up more of a fight.
I highly doubt Go Transit would stop serving McMaster had the union refused to accept the change. The profit increase from the newly implemented process would not be worth losing the profit they are getting right now from McMaster students.
Thank God I'm paying my student union fees or else perhaps quarters would still be called quarters and not 1280!

It was a poor attempt to represent MSU's lack of prioritization.

What enrolment letter? If I am going into second year, then I need to give them my original acceptance letter from mac, is that it?

No, you don't need your acceptance letter. It's your enrolment letter. It's basically a letter, like 2 sentences, saying that you're a full time student at Mac between sept 10, 2009 and april 29, 2010.
