Going from Union Station to McMaster Bus Terminal
Does anyone here know how to get to the McMaster Bus Terminal (bus stop right beside Keyes) from Union Station? I read that I can take a bus from Oakville, but I dont want to pay extra since I use the 10 Ride ticket
thanks

couple of ways:
1. take the westbound train from union to aldershot or burlington (depending on the time either of these is the last station) then take the mac bus that goes right to the mac terminal
2. take the qew express bus from union to hamilton go.. then take the 51 or any downtown bus to campus
not sure why u would go to oakville

the idea of oakville came up via a google search
I normally use option 2, but thing is now we gotta pay for HSR, so option1 works best
Thanks

there is an express bus that leaves from union station and goes to mcmaster university, and then to the downtown go center. Go onto the GO transit website, and look under schedules, and under union station. The bus leaves from union to mcmaster about every half hour.

When you take the QEW express from Toronto, you can get off at Columbia College which is like a 10-15 minute walk from school depending how fast you walk. It's the first stop right off the highway.

the express doesn't go to mac, it stops right off the highway - which is a 10 min walk from mac. it does leave on the half hour from union. getting back to toronto is not so easy though - the closest stop to mac is king and dundurn which is not exactly easily accessed without the HSR.

You can however just take the GO from campus to Aldershot and the train to Union. You can also take the GO from campus to York and TTC back home...

What do you mean by this? If your start and end location are in the range of numbers XX-XX on the 10-ride, I'm pretty sure you can transfer busses along the way without using another ride (probably within a few hours).
