Flicker appears right away. Though, I don't remember it being there the day I got the tablet.

Thanks for pointing that out. The lack of vividness is not really a bother (especially since all I'm using the tablet for is reading). I just thought it might be a problem with the display because I remembered the one I had seen at staples to be more vivid.
Overall I still really like this tablet for its value. I just hope the flickering doesn't transform to a more serious issue. |

Update:
My parents have really been warming up to the Nexus 7. They managed to switch the device's language to Chinese, and now Google voice search only responds to voice searches in Cantonese.

used to play scramble with friends... but it was really distracting at exam time so i took it off. 
finally got my tracking number (LOL!), should be here thursday night. praying its not a screwed up one. |

Im over draw something, I dont play it. But yes its scrabble! you play words back and forth, you can make a move once a day if you want, like its no pressure. I had to uninstall it from my phone because it was like 10mb, but is on my Nexus now! (which is at home lol) but you should still start a game with me!

draw something was not even that fun! i had it for about a week, and the performance of the game just sucked compared to iOS. i dont understand why devs skimp out on android sometimes, especially considering right now they have more market share!
the developers of draw something sold it to zynga just at the right time... zynga must be punching themselve sin the back of the head now! |

Draw Something turned into the biggest piece of crap probably ever. I think that's the epitome of slow phone applications.
Also, it says your username doesn't exist in Scramble with Friends.
EDIT: Wait, wrong application lol. Wtf is scramble with friends?

Its a good tablet,
it meets my needs. Jelly bean is the best android version I have ever used its really smooth.
The fact that its pretty cheap does not hurt either.
