Depends if you're doing a 3-year or 4-year degree. All the information is in the course calendar.

Go to page 26 in the current undergrad calendar. All the info you need is there...

With just a generic science degree, your chances are basically none. Low GPA is just the icing on the cake.

I've gone through 2GI3 and 3GI3 already... I would have done well in the class if it wasn't for the tests...

It's probably one of the most stressful courses I've ever done. You really have to dedicate time even outside of class to work on the labs. In 2GI3, the labs are straightforward as the steps on how to do stuff is in the assignment. For 3GI3 and 4GI3 (now 3GV3) however, the steps on how to do stuff is not on the assignment you have to figure it out. It is essential to make friends in that class as they can help you get through the labs and always ask the TA and prof for clarifications if needed. For testing, you really have to review all the lectures that's been done in class or else you won't do well on the test.

In my case, it's really hard but you can pass the class with a great mark if you work hard enough.

if you do well on the assignments in lab then you can do pretty well in the class... the tests were okay.. kinda difficult (if i remember correctly..), you just gotta study. just make sure you get good grades on the assignments cause theyre worth a good chunk of your mark. they arent extremely difficult they just take a lot of time. i thought i was going to fail the course cause everyone said it was crazy difficult but i ended up doing fairly well. definitely make friends to work on the labs together though!!!!!!

Yes actually you can find jobs with GIS knowledge. The GIS prof sometimes would post job listings that involves GIS. Definite worth checking out the school of geography and earth sciences website
