Graduation and Guests
So I've recently completed the form for this spring's graduation and payed the $40 for attending. Anyone know if guests are allowed (parents, family)? If so, how many, and is there any extra cost?

I was told to contact the registrar's office, but I figured someone here might be able to answer faster.

I believe you get 2 tickets, if you need more you will have to ask your friends to see if they are bringing less than 2 people.

Nope, Grad card is what I filled out.

And only two tickets? Kind of a bummer. Oh well.

I think it depends on your faculty and how many people are graduating.
When I filled out my grad card in March 2010, I was given the option of selecting how many tickets I wanted, up to 5. I think they said I was guaranteed at least 2 tickets, and they would send the other 3 depending on how many students were going to attend.
I was in Social Science.

They did e-mail it around, at least I'm assuming they have since it was addressed to all potential grads. It just never had any clear indications regarding guests... unless I'm just missing it.

It's actually the graduation response form that asks for the money etc.

i haven't gotten any emails about anything for grad, i would think considering these things have to be submitted relatively soon that they would at least email us about it :S
