GREAT NEWS! McMaster is the 65th best univeristy in the world!

McMaster is the 65th best University in the world!

Last year we were 93 and this year we are 65! Thats a 28 spot jump in a year!
We beat Dartmouth (90) again which is an Ivy league school. 
Thoughts? Comments? |

McMaster is also ranked 4th best in Canada on the list behind, U of T, UBC, and McGill in that order.

Last year only 4 Canadian Universities made it to the list in top 100.
UT, UBC, McGill, McMaster
Now a total of 5 Canadian Universities are within the top 100 (albeit barely).
Go U of Alberta! They are ranked 100 loool.

I knew it. Our first year batch was awesome.
EDIT: Not that it makes any difference. >_> Next year...we overtake McGill. Now wouldn't that be a story to tell?

In the same ranking system that put McMaster as 65th, it is: - 121th in "Teaching (The Learning Environment)"
- 62nd in "International Mix (Staff and Students)"
- 16th in "Industry Income (Innovation)"
- 87th in "Research (Volume, Income, and Reputation)"
- 69th in "Citations (Research Influence)"
I don't get how we're "65th" in the world, AND "65th" in North America. It's not like there aren't any higher-ranked universities outside of North America. Just by taking a glance at the charts, there are at least 5 UK universities there.
